Robert Earl Johnson was born to Scott and Susan Johnson in Onalaska, Texas on March 19, 1953. He attended Dunbar Public School, class of 1972.
Robert accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Will Hill and continued his membership at Grace Hill Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Scott Harrell.
Robert completed his education in Welding and later went into logging until retirement. Robert's family was very dear to his heart and wouldn't hesitate to do whatever he needed to make them happy.
Robert met and married the love of his life Gracie Wright Johnson, his high school sweetheart of over fort-five years.
He was preceded in death by both parents: Scott and Susan Johnson; Brothers: Henderson Johnson and Johnny Johnson; Sisters: Florence Harrell, Roxanna Harrell, and Helen Hill; Father and Mother-In-Law: Harrison and Dorothy Wright.
He leaves to cherish his memories: A very devoted and loving wife Gracie Wright Johnson; Son: Jason Johnson (Quashanda); Grandchildren: Larrian Johnson, Tyson Johnson; Goddaughter: ZaNiyah Hasty; Sisters: Flora Pickens of Seven Oaks, TX, Ora Johnson of Livingston, TX, Bobbie Scales (Eugene) of Compton, CA, Lois Rudolph (Edward), Battle Creek, MI, Deborah Johnson ( Darryl), Pamela Robinson (Willie), and Jacquline Randolph (Floyd) - all of Livingston, TX; Brothers: James Johnson (Elder Angel), Larry Johnson, and Rev. Keith Johnson (Co-Pastor Clara) - all of Livingston, TX, Douglas Johnson (Selena) of Battle Creek, MI; Sisters-In-Law: Dorothy Wright, Rosetta Perry (Jessie), Betty Wright, Debra Simmons (Titus), Maxine Wright all of Livingston, TX, Laverne Peart (Henry), Cheri Caraway (Pastor Garland) of Georgia. Special Friends: David Holley, James Henry Johnson, Charles Mapps as well as numerous aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
