In Loving Memory of William Kevin Duncan.

A devoted father, master craftsman, and silent protectorWilliam Kevin Duncan, a man of immense strength, integrity, and devotion, departed this world not to leave us, but to watch over and guide us from beyond. Born to Christine Tucker and Steve Sr. Duncan, and brother to Veronica Barber, William spent his life building not only homes, but a legacy of love, resilience, and sacrifice. He was the strongest man we have ever known—strong in will, in character, and in heart. William dedicated his entire life to raising his four children: Dillyn Duncan (34), Sydne Duncan (30), Anthony Duncan (28), and Layla Duncan. Through every trial and triumph, he remained steadfast—our foundation, our shelter, our silent strength. He gave us every opportunity to thrive and become our best selves, never asking for anything in return. As a master carpenter and entrepreneur, William turned his passion for craftsmanship into a successful life’s work. What began in our family home grew into PRO-CRAFT GENERAL CONTRACTORS, a well-known remodeling company built with his own hands and relentless determination. After selling the company, he spent his final years finding peace in the Philippines—a well-earned rest after a lifetime of labor and love. His love extended beyond his children to his grandchildren: Adelyn Burkett (11), Kaycen Duncan (4), and Vela, whose connection remains part of his story even in absence. Though some relationships were strained, William’s heart remained open, his love unwavering, and his hopes for reconciliation quietly present. To many, he may have appeared quiet, even distant at times—but those who truly knew him understood that he was always there. Always watching. Always carrying the weight of our burdens so we didn’t have to. He protected us without seeking recognition, bore the family’s stresses in silence, and never stopped until he succeeded—for us.William Kevin Duncan was more than a father. He was our builder, our protector, and our anchor. He lives on in every beam he raised, in every lesson he taught us, and in every heartbeat of those who loved him.We miss you so much, Dad. Your love was the kind that never needed words. And now, in your quiet strength, you continue to guide us—forever present, forever loved.
