Wilburn Ray Wallace

Wilburn Ray Wallace was born June 29,1947, to the parents of Arthur and Altharine Wallace in Livingston, Texas. He attended public school at Dunbar, Home of the Mighty Leopards, where he graduated in 1965. Ray was inducted into the Dunbar Hall of Fame. 

He accepted Christ at a very early age and united with the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. 

In 1969, Ray married the love of his life, Shirley Williams Wallace. Ray was employed with Union Pacific for many years, where he retired. 

Ray loved fishing, hunting, barbecuing and he loved his family. 

He was preceded in death by his first-born son; both parents; wife, Shirley Wallace; daughter Rena Wallace-Farr; Sister, Laura Ann Boyd; Brothers, Henry Wallace Sr, Arthur Wallace Jr and Charles Wallace. 

He leaves to cherish his memories; Daughters, Tiffany Wallace, Shanti White (Mernard) and Kimberly Wallace. God Daughter; Britney Lewis (Deandre), Brother; Bobby Wallace. Grandchildren; Jerrell (Shania), Dominique, Cameron, Ty’sha, Danaiya, Tyrese, Daijuyana, Darrion, Wendi and Iyana. Great Grandchildren; Kashtin, Azariah, Tru, Layden, Jomar. Sister in Law; Marine Brown (James). Aunt; Bobbie Hobbs. A host of other relatives and friends.
