She took immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, finding fulfillment in her hobbies, which included crocheting, babysitting, and fishing. Mary's spirit was also intertwined with her faith, as she was a cherished member of the Onalaska Church of Christ, where her kindness and warmth radiated to everyone around her.

She is survived by her daughters, Shaneatha Arnold-Harrison (Tramier) and Latasha Arnold, and her son, Maurice Arnold, as well as her cherished grandson, Justin Arnold and granddaughters Jakayla Arnold, Tramiya Harrison, and Trameah Harrison. Siblings Leroy Wallace (Patricia), WJ Wallace, and Sherlyon Jennie Gulett are joined by her nieces Malissa Johnson, Santara Patton, and Sherlyon Patton, and her nephew, Willie Oneal Sykes, in mourning the loss of a mother, sister, and aunt who embodied compassion and grace. Additionally, she leaves behind a special friend, Anthony Parker (Katrina), and a host of other relatives and friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.
Mary was preceded in death by her dear mother Louise Gibson, her father TC Wallace, and her loving husband Lester Tillis. She is also reunited with her sisters Valrie Sykes and Dorothy Wallace, and her brother James Wallace, who await her in eternal rest.
