 On October 18, 1939 in Livingston Texas a beautiful baby girl was born to Mr. Todd and Mrs. Rosie Randolph. They named her Mamie Lee

 

Mamie grew up in East Tempe attending public schools at Dunbar where she graduated. At an early age she accepted Christ, and united with the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, later she united with the First Community Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Curtis Hester, where she served as Sunday School Teacher and choir member she was very dedicated to her Pastor and Church. She served faithfully until her health failed her.

 

In 1965 she married the love of her life J.C. Cooper Sr. to this union eight children were born. Mamie worked various jobs to provide for her family. She loved her family,

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two children, Kenneth Randolph, and Pamela L. Hines, sister, Shirley Rogers, nephew Dexter Randolph

 

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Sharonda Cooper of Livingston, Texas, sons, J.R. Randolph (Dionne) of Porter, Texas, Cornellius Randolph, J.C. Cooper Jr. (Richarrell) Demetrice Cooper (Brenda), Joe Keith Cooper, Derek Cooper (Arthelia), Joseph Cooper, Minister, Terrence Cooper, all of Livingston, Texas, Patrick Cooper (Janae) of Houston, Texas, special grands that she raised LeSheta Randolph, Markatta Hinds, Sahara Lee (Jo Cedric), Toshia Cooper, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, great great grandson, Kedar Gordon Jr., sister Dorothy O’Brien (Kenny), Martha Cheney, all of Houston, Texas, brother James Roy Randolph of Houston, Texas, special friends, Kathy Prescott, Sophia Hill,
