Lonnie "Putt" Burch

 On July 26, 1939, a baby boy was born to Charlie & Margarine Burch of Leggett, Texas.  They named him Lonnie B. Burch.  Lonnie was raised in the Leggett Community and attended Leggett and Livingston Public Schools.  He was employed as a truck driver for many years until retirement in November 2020.  Lonnie met and married Virginia Nell Burch on March 8, 1958.  To this union, three daughters were born.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Willie, three sisters, Alice Faye, Ruby and Ethelene.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Nell; three daughters, Toni Green (James); Pamela Tellis (Coranza); Gayla Burch; four grandchildren, James Green, Jr. (Danyelle), Jordan Green (Ayisha), Coranza Tellis, III, Sheena Adams; two great grandchildren, Sophia Tellis and Justice Green; four sisters, Evarene, Doris (Daniel), Rosie Lee and Mary; a special nephew, Alvin Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
