On June 8, 1939, in Livingston, Texas, a handsome baby boy was born to Mr. Antonio Bailey and Mrs. Jessie Gardner Bailey. They named him Freddie Lee.Freddie grew up in Livingston, Texas and attended Dunbar Public School. He played football and basketball for Dunbar and they called him“Panther” because of his swiftness. After high school, on December 28, 1958, he married the love of his life, Sara Lee Haynes Bailey. To this union four children were born. Freddie worked as a carpenter all of his adult life. He was very good at what he did; he was very smart. He was instrumental in building several of the hospitals in Harris County and so many other constructions. Freddie was a beliver in Christ, he had a personal relationship with God. He loved to have fun and play dominoes, cards and talk noise. He loved to listen to the blues and spending time with family and friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents; wife: Sara Lee Bailey. Son: Fred Anthony Bailey. Grandsons: Cedric English; DeMarcus R Bailey. Brothers: Otis Bailey, Johnny Bailey and Red Bailey. Sister: Essie Jean Leblanc.Son-in-Law: Dennis English. He leaves to cherish his memories; Children: Hattie English, Patricia Bryant (Frank), Dwane Bailey. Lewis (Joey), Royce West all of Houston, Texas. Grandchildren: Sara Tarver (Bobby), Eric English, Krystal Banks, Jerricka Lewis, Kia Bryant, Tayja West. Eight Great Grand Chilldren. One Great Great Grandchild all of Houston, Texas. Sister: Gloria Jean Moore of Houston, Texas. Brother-in-laws: Clyde Haynes of Livingston, Texas and Gary Haynes (Cynthia) of Houston, Texas. Sister-in-Laws: Charlene Lusk (Bobby) of Goodrich, Texas; Theresa Haynes of Livingston, Texas. Special Friend: L.W. Foreman of Livingston, Texas. A host of other relatives and friends.
