Funeral Services for Mr. Fred Douglass McCormick Sr. “Train” will be held Saturday November 18, 2017 at the Livingston Church of God In Christ. Public viewing will begin at 10 am and services will follow at 11 am with Bro. Reginald Neal Officiating. Interment will follow services at Kibbiefield Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. “Train was born March 13, 1921 in Marston, Texas to parents Ben McCormick and Eveline Bigham, he departed this life November 7, 2017 at his home in Houston, Texas.

During his lifetime “Train” hauled pulkwood, and after his retirement he was known as the junk man hauling scrap metals. In 1980 he married the love of his life Mrs. Freddie Mae McCormick and to this union two children were born.

He was preceded in death by both parents; his loving wife; Sister: Lorine Jackson; Brothers: Frank Agnew; and Jerry B. Gibbs.

“Train” leaves to cherish his memories: Children: Fred McCormick Jr. (Gloria) of Livingston, Texas; Betty Jo Debose of Camden, Texas; Estella Caldwell of Houston, Texas; Gwendolyn Davis of Lufkin, Texas; Patricia Davis of McKinney, Texas; Elder Carolyn Barnes of Lufkin, Texas; Calvin Davis of Livingston, Texas; Warlene Davis of Los Angeles, California; Carl Davis of Huntsville, Texas; Charles Davis of Lufkin, Texas; Mark McCormick of Houston, Texas; Katherine Sherman (Ryan) of Dallas, Texas; Twenty-Three grandchildren; Thirty Seven great-grandchildren; one great greatgradchild; Special Friend: Mr. Joe of Houston, Texas; Wille Earl Gray of Livingston, Texas; Special Niece: Judy Jackson of Houston, Texas. A host of other relatives and friends.
