Cassandra D. Austin

Cassandra Austin was born on January 25, 1972 to the parents of Mrs. Velma Wallace & Mr.Tommy Dirden in Houston, Texas.At an early age she joined the Garner Chapel Baptist Church.Dee Dee as she affectionately known as, attended public schools in the Livingston Independent School District Graduating from Livingston High School in 1990. After Graduating High School she attended Texas Medical Institute in Houston, Tx.Dee Dee was employed with, Texas Home Health until her health failed her. She loved Family &Friends.On April 12, 2021 Dee Dee married the love of her life Mr. Odis Shine Jr. to this union, no children were born, they were together 26 years.On April 28, 2025, she answered the Master’s call and she entered into eternal rest.She is proceeded in death by her Mother & Father; Sister: Shalana D. Austin; Stepfather: Bobbie D. Wallace; Grandparents: Jack & Pearlie Austin and other relatives.She leaves to cherish her memories: Husband: Odis Shine Sr.; children: Michael Dirden (Patricia);MiK’Yiah Scott (Roderick); Step Children: Ashtyn Shine, Daniele Shine, Jasmin Shine, Mya Landers; God Children: Tre Crew, Antonio Briggs; God Grand Baby: Brandon Bizor; Sister: Necole Austin (Reggie); Uncles: Robert Austin & Londell Austin; A Host of other relatives and friends.
