Carrie Hart passed away peacefully at home on March 11, 2026, in Livingston, Texas. She was born on March 5, 1970, in San Diego, California. She later graduated from Foothills High School and went on to live a life marked by compassion, and dedicated to others. Over the years, Carrie held many roles, but she found special meaning in her work as a physical therapist aide and as a nurse’s aide, positions that reflected her gentle spirit and genuine care for those around her.
Carrie had a true love for human connection. She adored the outdoors, spending time at the beach, collecting rocks, and simply basking in nature. She found so much joy in life’s simple moments, discovering small treasures and sharing them with others. She had a way of making people feel seen and loved, and that will be carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved her..
Carrie is preceded in death by her husband James Bourelle and her mother Dana Joyce Thompson Fox, and father Freddie Ray Hart.
She is survived by her five children Brooke, Erin, Parrish, James, Jon, along with her thirteen grandchildren, her brother Drake and her nieces and nephews. Each of them carries a piece of her love, strength, and spirit. Carrie cherished her children, and family more than anything. Though her time here feels far too short, the love she gave and the lives she touched will not be forgotten.
The family would like to thank Harbor Hospices for their love and compassionate care during Carrie’s final days. Also the care care team at Fresenius Kidney Care, and Duncan Funeral Home.
A celebration of Life will be held June 6th 2026, to celebrate and honor Carrie’s memory
