Annie Pearl Thomas-Cooper was born on September 6, 1945, in Livingston, Texas, to the late J.V. and Annie B. Thomas. As an only child, she grew up with a deep sense of independence and strength, traits that would carry her throughout her life and into her calling of service to others. At an early age,she confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with the Church of Living God in Seven Oaks, Texas, where she remained a faithful and devoted member until her health began to decline. After graduating from Dunbar High School, she pursued her passion for caring for others by earning her nursing degree from Angelina College. Her compassion, ambitious spirit, and skillful hands touched countless lives during her many years of service as a Registered Nurse and as a Co-Owner of Home Care Solutions. Whether at the bedside or in the community, she treated every patient with dignity, kindness, and respect. In June of 1963, she was united in holy matrimony to John Wesley Cooper. Their union was blessed with four beautiful children. Together, they built a strong foundation of love, faith, and family that continues to ripple through generations.A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, found her greatest joy in family gatherings, cooking Holiday dinners, spoiling her grandchildren, and sharing wisdom with anyone who sat with her. She was known for her loving spirit, her quick wit, and her unwavering faith in God.On October 3, 2025, our beloved matriarch peacefully transitioned from labor tore ward, surrounded by family and love. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that she is resting in the arms of the Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents, J.V. and Annie B. Thomas, and her close cousin, Gloria English, whom we take comfort in knowing welcomed her with open arms. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband John Wesley Cooper;four loving children, Anna Wallace (Zackery), John M.
