Elder Timothy Johnson

On September 18, 1965, a handsome baby boy was born to the late Mr. Willie and Annie Mae Smith, whom they named Timothy W. Johnson. Timothy grew up in Livingston, Texas. He attended Public Schools in Livingston where he graduated in 1985, after graduating High School he attended Texas Southern University.

At a very early age he accepted Christ and united with the Gracehill Baptist Church. Later he united with the Livingston Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Bishop Rayford Chimney where he accepted his calling into the ministry, and remained under the leadership of Bishop Robert Johnson until his demise.

On June 25, 1994 Timothy married the love of his life Felicia Davis and to this union one son was born they named him Timothy Johnson. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and brother-in-law, he loved his family. Timothy was a football coach at Tyler ISD in Tyler, Texas. He loved coaching and he also served as Unit Director at the Boys and Girls Club in San Jacinto County in Coldspring, Texas, he also served as the Athletic Director of the Boys and Girls Club in Livingston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by: Both Parents; his Grandparents; Two Sisters: Willie Jean Brown, and Hester Manning; Brother: Gregory Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memories: A loving and devoted wife: Sis. Felicia Johnson of Livingston, Texas; Sons: Timothy Johnson of Livingston, Texas, Jacoby Johnson of Conroe, Texas, Jacory Johnson of Houston, Texas; Sister: Connie J. Morris of Humble, Texas; Brother: Lynn Johnson Sr. (Monique) of Livingston, Texas; Mother-In-Law: Mother Jewel Davis of Livingston, Texas; Aunts: Betty Ann Bowers of Los Angeles California, Jeanette Phlegm of Houston, Texas; Uncles: Jack White Jr. of Livingston, Texas, Johnny Willis (Yvette) of California, Michael Willis of Livingston, Texas; Sisters-In-Law: Missionary Evelyn Scott (Earl) of Arkansas, Freda Harris (Tommy) of Houston, Texas, Missionary Sherry Thomas (Marcell) of Livngston, Texas, Christine Wright (Rev. Bobby) of Goodrich, Texas, Keatra Davis of Houston, Texas; Brothers-In-Law: Wayne Davis of Palestine, Texas, Christopher Davis of Houston, Texas, Ronald Davis (Ramona) of Houston, Texas, Kevin Davis (Ruhama) of Ethiopia, Special Niece: Illyce T. Johnson of Houston, Texas; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
